There are cycle routes
that lead directly from the farm varying in difficulty. It
is an easy/moderate cycle route off to Hollingworth Lake
along the Pennine Bridleway track over the moor.
Hollingworth Lake is popular with children and traffic free
around the back.
The Rochdale Canal towpath
which is 5
minutes down the road provides a pleasant route to
explore into West Yorkshire.
The Pennine Bridleway only half a mile away
offers longer and more challenging routes around the
South Pennines.
Blackstone Edge Old Road connects with the A58 that goes
over Blackstone Edge which then branches down Turvin Road
to Mythomroyd, This has been voted one of the top ten cycle
routes in Great Britain, there is now a new cycle path
which runs at the side of the road going up, ending at
Turvin Road. From there you head down to Mythomroyd and
take the cycle path to Hebden Bridge and then back along
the canal to Littleborough.
A great detour from this route is to take the path
alongside the reservoirs after the White House which takes
you to Stoodley Pike, from there you can drop down to the
canal and cycle back along the towpath through Todmorden
back to Littleborough, there are plenty of places to stop
for needed refreshment along the way.
The Water Activity Centre runs Mountain Bike Courses and
provides all the gear.. including a
